Originally from Williamsburg, Virginia. I traveled to Denmark after completing High school. I grew up with Danish parents and wanted to get in touch with my roots, and therefore spent time at a Danish folk highschool called International People's College. After meeting and creating lasting friendships with people all over the world, I realised I resonated with Danish values and decided to pursue my studies in Copenhagen.
I received a Bachelor's in Communication Design & Media at KEA. I got to work with cool clients like IKEA and The Red Cross. During that time, I had a position as an E-Commerce/Marketing intern at Storm Fashion during Copenhagen Fashion Week. This was awesome, I got to meet big profiles like Mos Def, Marcus Paul, and the late Virgil Abloh.
I studied Design & Business in the heart of Copenhagen, DK, building skills in marketing, visual communication, strategy, rhetoric, and gained a basic understanding of various processes.
Through a love for product, I took my studies further. I continued my education in the northern quarter of Manchester, UK, a place where legendary bands come from all over to play music in quaint pubs.
I received a Master's in Digital Management at Hyper Island. Here I gained deep knowledge in Design Thinking, Change Management, Business Transformation, and Innovation Processes. Hyper Island has a "learn by doing" approach. This means I worked cross-disciplinary with clients such as EY and the BBC to develop real solutions.
After my Master's, I came back to beloved Copenhagen and got a position at Issuu. During my time I got to work with various great talents. I got to participate in off-sites in both Berlin and Braga, grow my skills, and build lasting friendships.
That's my story so far. Apart from that, my general interests are design, tech, and snowboarding. I enjoy reading philosophy, astronomy, and comic books. I like to draw and paint, hang out, and make new friends. I love spending time with my puppy, Bubz, and to create memories that I can always carry with me.
My career so far.
